Where Artistry Meets Advocacy, and Every Sip Makes a Difference!

Art, Ales and Advocacy is a charitable event featuring a unique display of ten hand-painted barrels, each adorned with thoroughbred racing themes. The event, hosted by Fayette Alliance, aims to support sustainable and equitable growth in Lexington-Fayette County through land-use advocacy, education, and research. With the generous support of sponsors Lexington Event Co, Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co, and Longwood Antique Woods, attendees will enjoy an evening filled with art, entertainment, and philanthropy. Online auction begins at 12pm on May 10th.

Remi Bellocq

Remi Bellocq has drawn cartoons for nearly 40 years, focusing his humor primarily on the world of horse racing.

Wylie Caudill

Wylie Caudill has been a notable chalk artist since 2015 and has since transitioned to murals.

Joanne Hope Skiles Couch

Joanna Hope Skiles Couch started Handmade Hope Rags in 2010,  where she serves and is a part of a fresh burgeoning art community in Kentucky.

Jon Gaddis

Jon Gaddis is a bright new artist on the Kentucky scene. He has exhibited at Keeneland and EKU and is known of his landscape work that is created on location.

Enrique Gonzalez

Some of Enrique Gonzalez's most recognized work is equine art. His paintings of horse races at Keeneland, Churchill Downs, and the Red Mile are favored by local clients.

Lennon Michalski

Lennon Michalski’s two dimensional and digital works has exhibited in North Carolina, Kentucky, Colorado, Georgia, and Washington, D.C. He has also displayed work in group exhibitions internationally.

Brando Mullins

Brando Mullins is known for his local mural work that can be scene at Blue Door Smokehouse and Desperados. His work is modern and whimsical. 

Connor Query

Lexington based visual artist, Connor Query, has been honing her craft in painting and graphic design from a young age. In 2013 she turned her passion into a career. 

Kiptoo Tarus

Kiptoo Tarus’s work has been showcased across town — the Henry Clay Estate, Woodland Park, The Met, Horse Mania, and, most recently, Old Friend’s Farm.

Kayla Weber

Kayla Weber has been a prolific artist in Kentucky that focused on the thoroughbred and bourbon communities with a bright flare.
